buffalo, new york THOMAS COX, age 42 received a one year jail sentence and a 3 year ban on owning pets after pleading guilty to staging and promoting dog fighting. the judge cited cox's extensive criminal history and then had him taken into custody. five dogs from cox's home were seized and euthanized in 2008, four severely injured pit bulls and one aggressive german shepherd.

A lot of gambling money and dog sale money he never paid taxes on.
