It drives me insane that there is so much more outrage (and so many more charges, laid so much more quickly) over these incidents than over mauling deaths!
And the rescue angels have swept in and are already promising rehabilitation....sshhhh.
unfortunately the laws for the victims of dog maulings are antiquated.
we need depraved indifference laws passed in every state. and they should be used whenever some one is maimed or killed by a dog or a drunk driver.

legislators need the balls to pass this laws and prosecutors need the balls to use it.
