this is a head scratcher

I have heard this before. An acquaintance who considers himself a dog trainer -- tells me a story about a puppy who spent ten minutes with his head in an unprovoked PB's jaw-lock.

Yet the only concern is whether the PB will get in trouble. I've asked more than once how the pup is doing who was exposed to this trauma -- no answer as yet. The indifference in the so-called professional dog-world is unforgivable.

I don't know how legal this is where you live, but if the pit bull is in your yard, I believe you have the right to defend yourself, your family, your dog, and your property from the animal.

If you have a gun, shoot it. If you don't because of children in the house, then see if a good, strong guy can come over and bash it's brains in with a steel bat. Whatever works.

how cool is that? arm yourself against pitdog or even pitman. i wish. but alas here where we are tis very illegal to carry any gun for protection. and yet big possibly lethal dogs are everywhere and people flout the muzzle law mostly with impunity. if this is a nanny state its not protecting us from the nanny dogs. a pellet gun is seen as much worse than a scarred up fighting dog. no shit
