trial of nutter TWYANN VAUGHN started. the nutter wept in court, most likely tears shed for her own ass.

lithonia, georgia on march 9th, VAUGHN's 2 dogs, an amstaff and a "mixed breed" got loose and attacked an 8 yr old girl playing in her yard. one of the dogs was shot by police responding to the 911 call. the other dog ran home and was later picked up by animal control. earlier it was reported that VAUGHN called the victim's family to express remore, apologize and offer prayers. but oddly, there was no mention of medical reimbursements.
of course the neighbors all gathered around the news crews to report that the dogs have a history of roaming, chasing, menacing, biting people and killing cats. 8 yr old erin ingram is still in critical condition and VAUGHN is only facing a misdemeanor charge.
this is a disgrace.

Why the hell didn't these neighbors go to the media long ago? Why didn't they go as a group to the mayor, to the GOVERNOR if need be?
This could have been prevented.
If animal control isn't taking care of business, ESCALATE.
But people are too "nice."
Then this happens.

The little girl had one arm amputated and the other torn to shreds.
In a perfect world we would have prisons with giant treadmills tied to the power grid so that Pit owners could generate electricity to pay medical and plastic surgery bills.

this was not a freak accident . this was not even an accident waiting to happen. this was a incident that should have been prevented from happening somewhere along the way and its too bad that someone had not been concerned or vigilant enough to take some kind of action that would have stopped this once and for all.

Kind of irresponsible if these books encourage children to approach these dogs--after all, according to one, they are "the best dogs ever"!

UPDATE...It only took the jury 90 minutes to CONVICT.
