In January 2011, Christina Milan paid her 81 yr old neighbor $55,000 for the 2008 pit bull attack he endured as the result of her neglience. The 81 yr old victim filed a claim against Milan, her sister and her mother after he required 19 stitches and 9 months of rehab. He still needs psychiatric help for fear and depression.

Milan wrote on her myspace page October 2006 “oh yeah, i have 5 dogs at the moment! haha, my sister found another Pit. She’s dope.”

The Milan family sounds like a bunch of rescue nuts with a house full of dogs, and probably over the legal limit.

Pro football star Joey Porter's 4 pit/mastiff mixes somehow escaped and killed his neighbor's dog on July 2nd. This is Porter's second pit bull accident. In September 2001, his pit bulls SOMEHOW escaped a secure enclosure and killed a neighbor's miniature horse.

Other interesting facts:
Porter left the Steelers and was replaced by James Harrison, who's pit bull Patron, attacked his son and two women.

In 2008, Porter came to the defense of Michael Vick's character to advocate for his reinstatement to the NFL. In the sportsbybrooks article, Porter is described as a "pit bull expert". He then on goes to explain how he cheats the system:

”That’s the funny thing about it,” Porter said. “If you want to get back on that topic, I’ve got pit bulls and I’ve got to put them under a different breed just to travel. You can’t even fly pit bulls anywhere.”

In March 2010, Porter was also arrested for DWI and assault on a California Highway Patrol officer.

William L. Roberts II aka Rick Ross

The neighbor of correctional officer turned rapper Rick Ross, has filed a $15,000 lawsuit against him after his pit bulls escaped their kennel and killed her toy yorkie. The victim stated Roberts aka Ross was negligent and the pit bulls have gotten loose prior to the fatal mauling of her companion Banks. Roberts/Ross was cited for the attack and never apologized to his neighbor.

Roberts/Ross is no stranger to the legal system. In January 2008, he was busted for a gun and marijuana. In August 2008, Roberts/Ross was served with a lawsuit for assaulting a youtube entertainer and in June 2010, famous drug dealer Freeway Ricky Ross sued Roberts/Ross for using his name.
