FInd the Pit Bulls, Find the Nutter

THIS is what happens when a dog is enjoying HIS yard just a little too close to the fence that houses a frankenmauler. and THIS is why we call them frankenmaulers!

update: Henry's home and $7000 has been donated to his medical care. that will probably cover half of his vet bills.

and the nutter and her frankenmaulers are on the lam.

Dear god that is awful. What do we know about the owners of the pit bulls? Is Henry expected to heal and have quality of life? I feel so bad Henry for Henry's poor owners :(

It is expected that Henry will recover. The injuries to this little dog are shocking. The Fund request indicates the expected bill for Henry's treatment will be in the neighborhood of $10,000. It would be a kindness to make a donation, just as it is a kindness to donate for the care of children and adults mauled by pit bulls. There is a bottom line here that needs to be noted, you seldom see requests for assistance with the medical costs of victims of Golden Retrievers, or Beagles, or Poodles.

Can you find the bad owner?
Or do you just blame it on the breed?

The owner STILL gets to keep her German Shepherd's

CHRIST ALMIGHTY! I almost barfed my cereal over my keyboard. I'm gonna catch up on this blog today, but I think I'll wait till I'm off the airplane.

FU Zupf perfectly displays the TIN EAR pit nutters have. Every grotesque pit bull mauling and or killing in the news, you find them on the comments boards, displaying their selfishness and aspergers-like lack of compassion, or even politeness.

FUZUPF, here's a head's up for you--don't thank me, it's your Christmas gift: the right thing to say is: "WOW that is awful! It's terrible that happened. I hope the dog heals okay."

NO QUALIFIERS. No knee-jerk defense reactions. No hurtling mud at other breeds. Just empathy.

If a greyhound did this, do you think greyhound owners would clog the boards saying, "BUT..!!!" No, of course not.

FU Zupf: Clearly you're not too bright, but even still--don't you BELIEVE IN MATH? Math. M-A-T-H. Statistics--the driver of public policy formation since 2000 BC.

Google pit bull attacks. Compare that to other breed attacks. HMMM not a media conspiracy! I know you can count. And even if you can't, lawyers and city council members can. I assure you.

BSL is coming for your dog. In 20 years they will not be legal except in rural crapholes in backwards places without any social services. Too bad it'll take so long--but government is reactionary.

But at least it is capable of evolution. Unlike FU Zupf here.

i liked fuzupf's suggestion for a title so much, i changed it. thanks. it is especially appropriate considering the nutter has fled with her dogs.

regarding the german shepherd, you don't really believe that i think that dog is entitled to be consuming precious resources, do you?

On Sept. 25, 2008, a resident reported that dogs owned by Sacha named Cowboy and Marley had attacked a neighbor's dog and tore off one of its legs. However, because the injured dog's owner did not come forward with a complaint, the Humane Society listed the report as unfounded, Nicholson said.

this sounds fishy. why on earth wouldn't an owner of a dog whose leg was amputated report this?!

Miss Margo said...

Dawn, I agree. The story is weird. But maybe the owner is an illegal immigrant and scared of authorities? Just a thought; I have no idea.

Yes, what is your point, Fuzzy? That the hell does a GSD attack have to do with Henry's face being ripped off? And, getting back to my original point, what is wrong with you for bringing that up? Don't you know how callous and inappropriate you sound?

I guess not.

i have doubts that the leg was severed. i suspect this was an exaggerated fish story. i see it happen with pit bull attacks too.

Miss Margo--- just because you can "google pit bull attacks" and the screen lights up with graphic pictures, are you suggesting ONLY numbers supersedes irresponsible ownership?

And for that matter, all of you are talking about how this story MUST BE fabricated because it doesn't "sound" right. Then you start making stereotypical assumptions about the owners stating the owners is, "an illegal immigrant."

What on earth does THAT have to do with German Shepherd's owned by someone that has MULTIPLE complaints and owns dogs that have attacked humans and (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt)....."severely mauled another dog?

Oh, and I know for a fact, Greyhound owners are almost as insulting as you guys are. I post a Greyhound attack and they state:
-"Very hard to believe, why would a dog attack some one that is sleeping for no reasons?"
-"I'm not believing it. My greyhound is afraid of my cat."
-"Don't believe it for one second jerk off...they are way to sweet for attacking someone for no reason."

So Dawn-- Is this owner a good owner, or are her DOGS aggressive for some genetic reason?

One more thing to add on this day of celebration.

I think it's a little strange when all of you are bad mouthing this story. EVEN THOUGH it's sad what happened to this dog, when you post an article of a woman's dog that was attacked by a "pit bull":
1. No picture of the suspect dog,
2. No history of the dog
3. Everyone just accepts it was "pit bull" that did this.

Then, when I send you a link about a bad owner with German Shepherds:
1. attacking MULTIPLE people.
2. MULTIPLE complaints and fines to the owner of the dogs
3. The Animal Control Supervisor, neighbor's, and the victim ALL acknowledge the suspect dogs were in fact, GSD's
4. There might've been a victim dog that had it's leg mauled off by these dogs.

....and yet, ALL of you question THIS story and start ripping the article (and me) apart, saying this must be a fabricated article.

Interesting.

How many greyhounds have fatally mauled people during the past decade?

How many pit bulls?

DubV said...

FU Zupf, are you keeping track of what dog types have killed people this year in the US? If you are, why are you surprised that your slapdash, desperate, and child-like argument style strikes us as unconvincing?

NU-Zupf comes out of his hole and there is another Pit DBRF.

Getting as predictable as the sun coming up!

Garnet said...

DBRF?

Five people in the United States have died from injuries received during pit bull attacks just during the past month (Dec. 2011).

Zero have been killed by greyhounds.

vintage said...

The Mendoza woman in San Diego finally passed away after three amputations the other day.

april 29 said...

Garnet, DBRF is a very sanitized "Dog Bite Related Fatality." When you use the DBRF it sounds so much milder...

F-minus Public Safety grade goes out to San Diego Animal Control for adopting out "Nancy"...and they wonder why California has had 41 Pit Bull Fatalities.
