Great catch on the Ledy Vankavage appearance! Like 99.99% of viewers, I wouldn't have noticed or suspected this was anybody but a shelter worker or volunteer.
These people operate like mobsters, right down to the well timed appearance of an "impartial and objective" witness like Vankavage.

Authorities are looking for a man and woman who's pitties attacked a service dog at a Washington State Vets office then fled.
The middle-aged male and female, both white, were in a silver SUV with Washington plates ADF6496.

The most recent Chicago victim had a foot bitten off during "The Bite". For Nutter education purposes...The Six Levels of Dog Bites
. Level 1 bite - Harassment with no skin contact. This level is also referred to as a snap. A snap is a bite from a dog with high bite-inhibition. It is a warning signal, telling us that we need to identify what causes the dog to become stressed and manage his behavior to avoid exposing him to the things that cause him excessive stress.
2. Level 2 bite - Tooth contact on skin but no puncture. Once again, this is a bite from a dog with high bite-inhibition and a warning that the dog is serious. You have to remove the dog's stressor at this point, before he takes it to the next level.
3. Level 3 bite - Skin punctures, one to four holes from a single bite. These punctures are less shallow than the length of the dog's teeth.
4. Level 4 bite - One to four holes, deep black bruising with punctures that are deeper than the length of the dog's teeth. In level 4 bite, the dog bit and clamped down, or slashes in both directions from the puncture (the dog bit and shook his head).
5. Level 5 bite - Multiple-bite attack with deep punctures.
6. Level 6 bite - The dog kills the victim and/or consumes the flesh

What is even more discusting is when someone is complaining about dogs that aren't immediately KILLED for KILLING!! In January there were pitbull dogs that killed a man and were not put down. This man was the owner of these dogs. He was killed and Cherie Travis let these dog live. I find that outrageous. These dogs are in someone's home and can kill again. How does she sleep at night knowing these killer dogs are out there?! She is willing to let killer dogs live but at the cost of a human being's life. And this is the head of ACC? The person that is suppose to protect the public

That letter is damning.
One commenter on the Dale blog suggested Travis' only experience was founding a small area shelter. Wow. That totally reinforces the Puppetry the CACC blog is alleging - that, and the fact that she's STILL THERE in 2012.

Pit advocates have a parasitic relationship with taxpayer funded A/C departments. Once they get ahold of a City's Animal Control system, they turn it into their own Pit Bull rescue and advocacy personal playground.
I feel sorry for the wayward cougar who wandered into the city a few years ago..The Mayor and Cherie put the whole weight of the city behind blowing it away. Ye, apparently, they are saving dogs from mankilling Pit breeding operations.
