Bubbles had to undergo another surgery since the first report. her vet bills are now at $2100 and will likely rise further. but Debra is tapped out. initially JESSICA WHITE promised to reimburse Stoltenberg for her vet bills but changed her mind when Stoltenberg became "confrontational". another excuse from the rolodex. (maybe the skanky tattooed nutter can just pump out another litter to pay for Bubbles' mounting vet bills) the first promise was not made in good faith, the words were uttered so she could slither away from a no doubt uncomfortable discussion. good thing her promise and the renege of promise was all reprinted in the bellingham herald. that is all of the proof that the judge will need in small claims (i saved a pdf for you deb, just in case it disappears from the internet).

in benton county, two mutant gripping dogs attacked, a man, a woman, a yorkie and sheriff's deputy before the deputy turned pittie's lights out.
and in rural stevens county, an 8 yr old boy was attacked by a female shit bull and her 3 puppies. it took a while for the first responders to arrive due to the remote location. people in the city are always talking about how pit bulls are not appropriate for city life. here is a perfect example of why pit bulls are not appropriate for country life.

Good call-out of the landlord's property vs. the tenant's. Methinks that the plaintiff's attorney will be more than interested in the comparison.
When will people learn? Dogs that are dangerous should have to come with insurance, much like a car. And if you don't have the proper license and insurance, you should get a huge fine and possible jail time.

Now, the more responsible nutters can point to a person like White and say "look, it really is about the owner! you always see these types of folks attached to pits that do bad things!"
I think it is simply that so many pit nutters are like this that if 100 pit bulls are randomly selected to attack, the majority of them will have owners like this. As intelligence and civility rises, the probability of owning a shit pull approaches zero.

In my field, this is called a "performance indicator." And damn right, it commands power of prediction.
A few years ago, I was discussing this phenomenon with my roommate. I was saying that it would be impossible to collect the data on this...but I'd be willing to bet serious money that almost everyone with a tattoo on their face or their neck is either a degenerate, incorrigible criminal or has a very low IQ score. Or both.
I'm not an IQ snob, either. But I've only met one fellow with tats like that who was responsible, good-natured, and had the little hamster upstairs running well in its wheel.
What gets me is when people lump all of what Miss Margo said into the bin of "prejudice" and then discount it as horrific. Aren't job interviews all about prejudging someone's performance in a specific job?
If someone has green hair, a spider tattoo on their neck, and weird looking eyes, for instance,....you have to begin setting up various probabilities for their future actions based upon the clues available. You'd likely not trust them as much as someone of a more normal demeanor and appearance. Everyone does this, we have to in order to survive and prosper. It's sad that we have to do this but that doesn't change anything.

Once you control for subclinical psychopathy then there is no further association between body mods and misconduct. Seems like the tail wagging the dog a bit. No one (I would imagine) thinks that tattoos cause crimes, it is just that tattoos are a marker for other things that do cause misconduct. It seems the research agrees with that. We can't measure someone's psychopathy levels as easily as we can see the spider tat on their neck. Hence the utility of noticing someone's body mods.
we also cant necessarily see the personality of pit owner but the pit is a good indicator of whats on the other end of the leash.
I'd like to point out that the child mauling in rural Stevens county is meeting with the same reaction as the Pierce County dog mauling did by AC. NO citation. NO impoundment. NO declaration of "vicious animal", even though the boy had nearly been scalped.

None of you have a clue what you are talking about. I doubt any of you have raised a pit bull because it requires someone with an open mind and a loving heart. Just because some people raise their dogs in a messed up way does not make it right to bash on the whole breed. Those owners and dogs that have committed these heinous crimes should be charged, but don't group them all in to one group. It's unfair. Please, if you are so certain about your belief, go and adopt a stable pit bull and keep it for a month. I bet it will change your mind. My pit bull is my best friend and he helped me through high school when i was home schooled and didn't have many friends. He is the best companion ever and I never feel lonely when he is cuddling on my lap and warming my legs a night when I sleep. he has never bitten me and we wrestle in a playful manner all the time. yes, he is a pit bull and he gets too energetic sometimes, but it up to the owner to control that and train your pup accordingly. How can have an opinion if you haven't experienced it first hand. But once again, fuck violent dogs and fuck owners who raise dogs to be violent. If u raise em right, they can be the friendly lovebugs everyone needs.

Two dogs were attempting to maul a 4-year-old girl while her father slept on the couch inside, said Detective Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
The girl was playing in her University Place back yard Saturday when the family's two dogs knocked the girl down and attempted to maul her, Troyer said.
Neighbor Anthony Stone saw the attack and he and his father rushed to the girl.
KIRO 7 has also learned that their father is a registered sex offender and was convicted of animal cruelty three years ago.
