happy new year!

Massive soft tissue damage of the right leg caused by a pit bull attack. This patient was transferred to a level one pediatric trauma center for care. At times, staff members may need counseling after caring for savagely mauled patients.

Wounds to the left arm inflicted during a pit bull attack. This young patient was also bitten once on the left side of his face.

Massive soft tissue damage of the lower left leg caused by a pit bull attack. Most of the fatalities from dog bites are children. Rottweilers and pit bulls are responsible for about 60% of fatalities.

A different angle of the patient in Image 3 showing the massive soft tissue damage to this child's left lower leg. Pit bull attacks are not rare.

The devastating damage sustained by a preadolescent male during a pit bull attack. Almost lost in this photograph is the soft tissue damage to this victim's thigh. This patient required 2 units of O- blood and several liters of isotonic crystalloid. Repair of these wounds required a pediatric surgeon, an experienced orthopedic surgeon, and a plastic surgeon. Attacks such as these have caused a movement in some areas of the country to ban pit bulls.

  2. I have worked as circulating nurse in a hospital operating room. Not much sickens or shocks me, been there, done that, seen it all.
This case would have left me sobbing in the nurse's locker room.

  3. Where the hell do you get propaganda, Rank/Frank? Flicka, this is indeed hard to handle for a NORMAL human being.

  4. Let's get Ledy VanKavage in that hospital room writing out a check from Best Friends with some of the PROFITS they have made fundraising with the Vick dogs to pay these hospital bills and reimburse this family.

VanKavage and Best Friends represent pit bulls as safe and as nanny dogs. They need to honor their guarantee.

  5. Also time for the pit bull breeders to start coughing up the expenses for victims of their dogs.

Come on, AKC, UKC, and all you profit-hungry greeders!

  6. Can I get a picture of the dog that done this?

I hardly think so, it wasn't my breed of choose, I feel sorry but it wasn't a true APBT that done this ain't gonna happen in my or your life time :(

  9. where is the news story for this? I have a hard time believing that this wouldn't be broadcasted all over the news, seeing as it is allegedly a 'pit bull attack'. I want evidence that this was actually a dog attack, and not something else.

  12. These fools!! Yeah, it is gross what these dogs are doing, hope it does shock you dogmen. It is hard to believe that your beloved wiggle butts could do something liked this. Look at it, and OWN IT, Dogmen, this is the result of your perversion for this dangerous breed of dog. But by the grace of God, there goes your children.

  15. There is a federal law that protects the privacy of patients. You will not see photos like these linked to a patient's name.

  16. Not one of the dogs I ever had or bred and raised did this. Because I didn't let my dogs go to people who weren't capable of managing the animal. Most times, if it became my dog, it died while being my dog.

    I still don't buy it.

Whine and moan all you want, it's propaganda bullshit.

It's just like the dog mauling in Queen City in Dec.; no photos or videos I could find while searching the internet convinced me it was an apbt, or "pit bull" since that's what you prefer to call them. "Pit bull" type dog? Sure. No an apbt.

Hey by the way, what happened to that Skeldon douche bag in Ohio? Oh yeah, he (along with another council member) were forced into retirement. People are starting to see past their bullshit, just like yours.

    Happy New Year!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Again Frank... nobody cares if your mutts have papers from trumped up "registry". My guess is that many of your dogs died, just like they lived... chained to a truck axle in the woods. Can there ever be enough suffering to satisfy you?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Pisses you off doesn't Rank/Frank when you have nothing sensible to offer to overcome what "YOUR" dogs do to people. And Toledo will get what is coming to it, overcrowding at the shelter, maulings by pits, lawsuits, they evidently prefer to learn the hard way. It'll come home and they will be begging Skelton to come back and straighten it out.

  19. Ohh, look, the hillbilly dogmen crawling out from under the rocks to comment. Probably taking a short break from the other, typical dogmen hobbies of gambling, drug dealing and pedophelia. Since so many men involved with the "noble" pit bull breed have criminal records of crimes against children, its not a surprise that they don't really care about photos like these. Their 6th grade education also leaves them prone to paranoid, simplistic goverment conspiracy theories, and beliefs that "them thar liberal elite media ain't telling the truth" about their beloved APBT.

Thruth is, real men don't get a hard on watching two dogs rip each other to shreds in a ring. If you all like fighting so much, loose the beer bellies, grow a pair, and get in a f*cking boxing ring. Man up, losers, and stop breeding dogs to do it for you. Owning a bunch of toddler maulers doesn't make you a man. Get an education and a real job, and maybe you'll find out what is like to be a real man.

  20. "Not one of the dogs I ever had or bred and raised did this. Because I didn't let my dogs go to people who weren't capable of managing the animal."

Frank, you sound like a rescue angel girl.

You know that this statement is just not true.

First, all it takes is someone not closing a kennel door or a chain breaking to ensure that YOUR dog is running around the neighborhood and either goes after a kid or after a pet, and a person gets in the way.

There is NO WAY to guarantee that ANY of your sold dogs will be kept from people and pets unless they are dead. Life happens, doors get left open, collars break, a storn knocks out a window. Bang. The dog is loose.

Second, just because someone with ability buys your dog doesn't mean they will keep that dog. You know how disposable this society is. Dogs gets dumped for all kinds of reasons- illness, divorce, owner sent to jail.

A certain percentage of your dogs are not with the people you sold them to. They got given away or resold (probably to some incompetent fool) and they are NOT being handled properly.

When one of those dogs gets into an issue, the lawyers and authorities are going to trace that dog back to YOU, and you will end up in court. Even if you get out of charges or liability, you will have spent a mountain of money on legal bills, had your life examined, and probably gotten your name into the papers or public record court documents.

In this day and age, pit bulls are a liability to their breeders, and they really are a big red flag that makes you exposed to all kinds of investigation, scrutiny, and lawsuits.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Hey by the way, what happened to that Skeldon douche bag in Ohio? Oh yeah, he (along with another council member) were forced into retirement."

It doesn't matter. The Ohio Supreme Court already upheld that pit bulls are dangerous dogs law.

And as more people end up in hospital rooms and morgues because of pit bulls, public opinion is getting raging mad at you guys and your dogs.

These laws are going to expand, because you guys opposed the very bsl that could have kept a handle on this and reduced the attacks.

The bsl would have affected mostly the gangbangers and backyard breeders so their dogs weren't in the headlines every day. The attacks would have diminished.

But you guys screwed yourselves over opposing bsl.

(and Skeldon was going to retire this year anyway)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Frank, Skeldon was one of your best buddies. He didn't hand out pit bulls like candy to ugly tattooed girls that let them chew up and kill the kid they are babysitting, and make national news about pit bull attacks.

Which makes people pissed off about pit bulls in general and at YOU and your friends, and look at you more closely and regulate you.

Skeldon was doing you a favor and you didn't even realize it.

But then pit bull breeders aren't the sharpest sticks.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Look at the puncture wounds in these photos. Anyone with some common sense would look at the details and realize a canine isn't capable of doing this. Especially a "pit bull."

I thought you all like the idea that they had locking jaws? They aren't Jack Russells....they don't snap open and closed repeatedly. They bite and work the hold.

And the "mauling" victim photos I have seen that I know were legit didn't have massive tear wounds like the poor saps arm in these photos. I would believe if craven claimed it was a shark, but we all know how he likes to skew things for his schlog.

If all these photos were of one male "victim" then his parents need beaten for leaving him alone with a dog period. My kids were never even allowed around my wife's ankle biters unattended until well into their teens.

Again, propaganda bullshit. Like someone else posted, if this shit came from a reliable source I might buy it, but it doesn't so no one will.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sorry for the double post, but serioulsy people, look at the wounds. The cuts are too clean and the chunks of flesh missing are too large to be done by any dog, period.

Just look at the second photo........those are not dog bites.

Sad that some people can buy this schlog so easily.......

    1. OK... offer us a believable alternate as to what caused it.
Are they wounds caused by machinery? A severe allergic reaction? Being dragged by a train? Keep in mind that we are
people who have had first hand experience or witness to these types of wounds--oh, and they are absolutely consistent with the grind, shake, and tear bite utilized to such horrendous effect by pit bulls--I'm surprised a man of your expert authority isn't aware of that.
My Grandfather was a young man in Northern Minnesota in the 1920's, and told of finding deer trapped in a pit of deep snow, too winter-weakened to escape--wolves had killed and eaten one, and simply tortured the other three--I still remember that b&w photo, and those hacking, encircling wounds are the same--a canine is a canine, and those that intend to cause suffering achieve the same result.

  25. Frank, do you really think surgeons at a major US hospital are lying?

You are an uneducated man. You are too stupid to realize that your dogs are going to bring hard times to your own doorstep and raise a red flag over your head.

And you are coming up with conspiracy theories like the ugly little tattooed girls?

Do you realize how nutty you sound? You sound like an animal rights fanatic. Are you sure you aren't wearing peta underpants?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rank/Frank, you just don't want to admit to yourself that this is what your dogs do. Could it be that you do have some humanity buried deep inside and these pictures have touched it? Doubtful but the pictures are real and you are in denial. You just don't want to admit what these dogs are capable of and do everyday.

  27. frank, how do you know this dog didn't get loose and attack a boy riding his bike? how do you know the parents weren't mauled trying to protect him?
what do you consider a reliable source? abc? cnn? the christian science monitor? karen delise? game-dog.com? your friend and mine?

    so according to "dogmen"
TRUE american pit bull terriers don't attack people -compliments of marty
    and
NO dog is capable of doing THIS kind of damage - compliments of frank

    well, there you have it.

  32. This blog really is a joke. I wonder what you idiots are going to do when "pitbulls" are banned and eradicated and there is no change in the amount of dog attacks that happen. Ban rottweilers? German Shepherds? Doubtful since they don't have such an evil sounding name. All you morons who really think that the American Pit Bull Terrier is nothing but a mindless need to get your heads out of your a$$es.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hard to do, Scott, because your big head is stuck there permanently. And when pits are banned nationally we will be celebrating that we can finally get along with our lives and know that lives have been saved. You on the other hand will have to start looking for something else to make yourself feel like a man.

  34. Whether anyone likes it or not Frank is right in more cases then anyone else leaving comments on here....no dog in the world is gonna take their time and go completely around an arm or a leg to make sure they get everything especially not if their fighting or ripping something apart...and Frank unfortunately the media and everyone else dont want the world to know they lie so we aint gonna see any image of the dog....Personally I think if people have a problem with a pit bull stay in your own yard or on your own street if someone around you has one...you didnt pay for the dog you have no control of the dog....This much i'll say leave somebody come to my door to confiscate my dog or tell me they have to euthanize my dog....america is supposedly the free country dont anyone have the right to tell a human being what kind of dog their allowed to have.....face facts and research before you people talk about something you know nothing about.....pit bulls scored better on temperament testing then golden retrievers for good temperament scoring 83.5% while retrievers and labs scored below 70%....and mister anonymous talking about 6th grade education the word TRUTH only has one H in it.....so find your old spelling books and your relearn your first grade work.....

  35. shawn thank you for showing up and demonstrating once again that pit nutters are pathological liars.

    labs 92% http://www.atts.org/stats5.html
    goldens 84.6%
your frankenmaulers only score 85.3% because the judges are nutters too and have a vested interest in high scores.

  37. I'd like to just put something out there for you people saying these dogs wont just attack for no reason... I CALL STRAIGHT UP BULLSHIT!

I remember distinctly when I was in grade school, walking home and this god forsaken APBT or pitbull or whatever.... came charging at me from across the road for no reason. I was simply walking down the street. Thank god for a lady that worked at the daycare i was walking passed pulling me over the fence had she been 10 seconds later i would have probably had a nice chunk missing from my leg, not to mention countless other injuries of mild to sever manor.

I still to this day am afraid of them. I also recall being in my grandmothers back yard playing when we heard blood curdling screams coming from across the alley. Only later to find out the little girl, whose parents owned the pitbull from the time the little girl was a year or so old, up until the attack. This dog was never ever vicious before infact i remember running around with the dog. All the little girl did was walk towards her side gate and the dog just went nuts on her....

So please explain to me why both those incidences happened and for no apparent reason.

  38. I have TWO pitbulls and i love them more than anything. They are the most playful and caring pets i have ever known and they would never hurt a soul. This breed is very, very obedient aswell so i dont see how this is even possible. This is where stereo types come into play people. Lets get real here that kind of damage is a little much for a dog. Quit creating stereo types against this breed!!
