weekly frankenmauler roundup 10/29/10

10.22.10 elgin, illinois A pit bull got through a hole in a fence in the 300 block of Wheelock Street and attacked a bulldog about 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19. The bulldog sustained injuries to the face, back and leg.

10.23.10 san antonio, texas 14 and 15 yr old Jarod and Jalen Garcia and their terrier pups were attacked by two mutant pit bulls that lept from the back of a truck. the boys' mother heard their screams and responded. she was bitten when she scuffled with dog. one of her sons was also bitten. one of the mutants was seized.

10.23.10 reddit Pretty much sums it up. It attacked her two dachshunds and then bit her mom when she tried to stop the attack. The owner didn't really show any sign of remorse. Of course, I was a bit hesitant to go up and knock on the door. What is the best course of action at this point. Her and her mom don't want to put the pit bull down but it is a bit out of their control and I remember hearing about something along the lines of a pit bull needing to be put down if it tastes human blood.
This happened in Los Angeles, CA by the way. Thanks a bunch.
Update: Talked to the owner. Spoke very little English and blamed it on one of the dachshunds although his dog walked out and attacked them unprovoked. Took pictures of the bites on her mom and going to when the dogs get back from the vet. Is he liable for damages? Small claims court? Thank you.

10.24.10 UK VICTORIA BEDDEN'S frankenmauler DELA, attacked 2 small puppies, a bichon and a lhasa. both puppies survived, the lhasa just barely.

10.25.10 canada two mutants attacked a horse for 15 minutes before running off. skin and muscle torn off but no laws have been broken in the small town of Deroche. the mutants can not be impounded or euthanized and are free to do this again.

10.25.10 austin, texas a man was at the hospital while his wife was delivering their baby, their mutant got loose while under the care of a friend and attacked 2 small terriers, killing one, the other small dog possibly died. we will never know because the NEWS hasn't picked it up!

pits and punks

pit bull breeder TIMOTHY SEELHORST "I guess the fence was open."
10.25.10 mobile, alabama Stan Leslie was just heading out for a dog walk when one of STEELHORST'S mutants that somehow escaped launched an attack on Leslie's dog, and bit Leslie on the leg twice. the breeder will get his mutant back, he goes to court on dangerous dog running looses charges in december.

10.25.10 boca raton, florida JEREMY SHANE SPEARS and RORY STEEN'S mutant pit bulls got loose and wandered into the back yard of Michael Scheidegger and killed his cat. all fo the mutants were taken into custody. SPEARS was the only one cited. STEEN is still on probation for shooting/throwing a missile at or from a building. i wonder if that has anything to do why he surrendered his dog, even though it did not do the actual killing?

10.26.10 new zealand a 20 nothing female pit nutter with her mutants OFF leash, has been charged with cruelty after they attacked a dog on saturday. additionally she was was charged with 2 counts of owning dogs that attack.

10.26.10 australia Bianca Sommerville became the target when her friend's mutant became frustrated when it couldn't fulfill its genetic destiny with the dogs on the other side of the fence. the friend has given the mutant a dirt nap. Sommerville's advice is a good one in light of the recent pit bull awareness day "JUST BEWARE OF PIT BULLS, MATE."
a 1o yr old was attacked by a friend's pit bull during a visit. it is in custody while they determine the fate of the dog.

Shirley Struk and Jin
10.26.10 australia an ugly mutant put the kibosh on the show career of Wayatinah Jewel Empress aka Jin, a shar pei. Struk was walking Jin when the pit launched an attack. Struk managed to get a leash on the mutant and pull it from her dog. the pit fighter continued to pull cutting Struk's hands with the leash from the force. authorities finally arrived and got control of the thing. Struk took her dog to the vet. Jin had injuries to her neck, throat, above the left eye, it left hind leg. the mutant had escaped its back yard somehow and was returned to its nutters.

10.26.10 los angeles, california last week photographer/blogger Jennifer Lyn Browne's akita mix was attacked by a loose pit bull that jumped the fence. also last week, another pit bull killed a dog on her block. the cops who responded advised her to carry protection in the form of a tazer. (a pistol is a safer bet) Browne has opted instead to avoid that block. if only it was that easy! i have encountered problem pits in every direction. check out Browne's blog - doggy du jour. a collection of photos of the dogs and sometimes cats that she encounters on her morning dog walks.

Willy
10.27.10 australia 11 yr old Willy was savaged by a mutant owned by a contractor working next door. Willy's owner, Jim Gusset asked around and that "this is happening quite a lot". a spokeperson for the building company is quick to blame it on a sub-contractor and informed the sub-contractor that it is not acceptable to bring dogs to the work site. it's a little late for Willy who is still not out of the woods.

10.27.10 australia a passing motorist saw two ugly mutant fighting dogs attacking pet goats and stopped to alert the owners. one goat had died and two were so mangled that they were euthanized. one injured goat survived. the mutants were exhausted and covered in blood. the goat owner Kerry Llewellyn with the help of her son and the good samaritan were able to tie up the mutants for the authorities. Llewellyn said the dogs fit the description of recent killers of goats and chickens in the area. the owners of the dogs were located and cited, their mutants were surrendered to the dirt nap master. the owners were each fined $770 and ordered to compensate Llewellyn $300. authorities are recommending that ALL dog incidents be reported. as for the surviving goat, Llewellyn reports that it was very distressed and she had to sleep in the shed with it. she has since acquired a baby goat and that helped to settle the battle scarred goat a bit.

Leroy
10.27.10 maricopa county, arizona Leroy was attacked in his driveway by 2 loose pit bulls. hours earlier, the same 2 mutants killed Sahara, a toy poodle. AC drug their feet on capturing the pits after the fatality was reported. Leroy's blood is on their hands as well as the pit nutter and their raging frankenmaulers.

Once by a pitbull (no puncture wounds amazingly but his back end was so sore he didnt even want to get up and i couldnt pick him up, hes only 12lbs) this was in my yard and the neighbors pitbull broke thru their fence, my dog was on his leash as always. And then the other neighbors rottweiler was lose when I went to take my dog out to go to the bathroom and approached my dog, I had to throw him into the house and the other dog tried to come in!! I’m really freaked out now my little dog could never defend himself against those dogs, and the neighbors are all very neglectful and I will be calling animal control every time this happens. the first occasion my dog had to go to the vets and I was very afraid he had a slipped disc or something he was actually ok, and had to be on pain meds for a week. anyway what is you’re advice for breaking dogs up if this happens again, im going to carry him out of the house when we go if theres no dogs around then let him down to go to the bathroom, but what if this happens in public when were walking him?? should I get mace? what is the best idea? thanks with the first incident the pitbull took him in his mouth by his back end and flung him across the yard, the second one didnt end up getting ahold of him we live in an apartment complex, i WISH we had a fenced in yard

"I'm sorry again"
10.27.10 memphis, tennessee Clarence Oliver was attacked by 3 problem pit bulls while checking on a rental property. he was hospitalized. the city seized pit nutters 3 adults/5 puppies. they will all get dirt naps and the nutters will charged with dogs at large, no vaccines, no license. these dogs have killed at least one other dog prior to berserking on Oliver.

loyal, courageous, die for his master Bear
10.27.10 fremont, utah heroes come in all shapes and sizes. this amazing little 12 lb dog put himself between a mutant pit bull and his family. the Jackson boys, aged 5-12 were approached by a pit bull. when the boys screamed, Bear flew into action. the ugly pit savaged the little dog. the boys tried hitting the pit, when their father responded, the pit ran away. there is a possibility that this is the same mutant pit bull that attacked and KILLED 2 cows the next day. the rancher shot it. man, i love the wild west:)

10.28.10 UK fighting nanny dogs attacking one another on the streets of scotland.

Ana with a broken jaw
10.28.10 canada yet ANOTHER ugly mutant named BELLA savaging ANOTHER small dog. and ANOTHER pit nutter refusing to do the responsible thing and pony up the $2000 vet bill
call Alex Russell if you can help with the vet bill. 250-826-2347

10.28.10 gilbert, arizona an off duty cop shot and killed a mutant pit bull when it charged him, his 2 yr old daughter and his dogs. i don't understand why he first tried to punch or kick a pit bull when he had the perfect anti-frankenmauler device.

rip Carmine
10.28.10 point breeze, pennsylvania SUZANNE KRATZ'S ugly mutant pit bull charged off of the porch and into the street and savaged Carmine while on a leashed walk with his owner, Michael Stadtlander. Carmine died at the vet later. AC has cited the nutter for harboring a dangerous dog and allowing it to run at large. KRATZ voluntarily turned her mutant over for a dirt nap. that is no surprise, Stadtlander described Ms Nutter as being afraid of her own dog.

rip Dexter
10.28.10 new orleans, louisiana Connie Patterson was walking Dexter when she saw 2 teenage boys with an unleashed mutant pit bull. the mutant lunged, bit her face and grabbed Dexter. Connie fought with the pit bull and suffered further injuries to her hands. the boys ran off with their ugly mutant. she is undergoing the painful and expensive series of rabies shots.

10.29.1o clayton county, georgia Jose Padilla was walking his chihuahua when a pit bull came after them. Padilla was bitten. it could have been much worse if not for the teenagers waiting at a bus stop who came his aid.

10.29.10 southern california roger the scanner guy reports that a pit bull killed a dog.

rip Bailey
10.29.10 UK a white staffy bull attacked Bailey, a 15 wk old whippet. a good samaritan helped Carol Milgate free her puppy but it was too late Bailey's skull was crushed and her leg was broken and was euthanized. this all occurred in the presence of Milgate's 11 yr old daughter, Francesca. of course, the heartless pit nutter just walked away from it all. he probably went home and celebrated, gave his mutant a special treat. the official police response:
"it's difficult to prove which dog was at fault" when they are both off the lead.
really? a 15 week old whippet vs an adult staffy bull?

10.29.10 glen ridge, new jersey Officer Grogan responded to a call about pit bull attacking a dog. when he arrived the pit bull attacked him. ac responded and seized the mutant. the officer went to the hospital and charges are pending against the owner.

update

corbin, kentucky Tikka died after a week at the vet.

taunton, massachusetts last week, Rosie the golden retriever was attacker by two mutants while tied out. this week, the nutters step forward to apologize and ask the city to spare their ugly mutants. the pit nutters think that because Rosie is alive, their dogs should be allowed to live as well. they claim to have offered to pay the vet bil. they do not deny that their mutants attacked Rosie but add their dogs are family pets loved by many in the neighborhood. who are these pit nutters? KERI A INGEMI and KEVIN D CORNELIUS. for the sake of this news story, KEVIN is pretending his last name is INGEMI. and the dogs? KEVIN and KERI claim they are "miniature bullmastiffs". is this some kind of variation of the St Francis Terrier ploy? here are their 3 dogs. one does appear to be ambully or part mastiff.

UK 38 yr old Jason Kirby was found guilty after setting his ugly staffy bull on a cat in sept 2009. after the killing, he was overheard telling the mutant "good dog. well done." he will sit in jail for 4 months. KIRBY was also indefinitely banned from owning any more animals. KIRBY can ask for the ban to be lifted after 10 years, hopefully the judge will deny any future requests. the mutant was deemed not dangerous and rehomed to KIRBY'S brother.

redding, california 57 yr old wheel chair bound Charles Osborne who was attacked by 2 mutants while walking his dogs, said this was the THIRD time the dogs have attacked. the pit nutter declined to speak with reporters but said "THEIR DOGS WERE NOT ATTACKING OSBORN, THEY WERE ATTACKING HIS DOG". THIS is the reason that i focus on animal attacks. i am fed up with these fucking pit nutters minimizing animal aggression.
the humane society CEO Dr Ray John had this to say:

austin, texas remember the 5 pits that recently escaped their home and went on a rampage destroying a fence in an effort to the destroy the dogs behind it? the pit nutter has paid HALF of the vet bill and HALF of the fence repair bill. animal control held a dangerous dog hearing on the one surviving mutant (two were shot/two were euthanized). and the 2 heelers that were the target of the pit rampage, the female who escaped injury is now afraid of everything. the male who did not escape is healing physically but is suffering from post traumatic stress.

saanich, canada Jet's owner and those who came to his aid describe the attack. labs, german shepherds and poodles are incapable of this level of savagery.

  1. Tauton Ma story

The two pit bull owners are on welfare

Comment "You shouldn't even have a dog or kids if you are on welfare."

They are using TAX DOLLARS to feed and possibly breed pit bulls, and possibly run an illegal pit bull breeding business

    These people MUST BE reported!

  2. If that last video doesn't say it all.

And pit bull owners wonder why we cross the street when we see them coming? Why we look scared when we see their dogs anywhere near ours? Why we shit a brick when one moves in next door? Give me a break!

We don't want you and your pit bulls in our neighborhoods. Got it people?

We don't want you and your pit bulls in our parks? Got it?

You think we can't identify pit bulls? It's terrifyingly easy. They're the ones with our dogs and our children in their mouths.

  3. I'm still fighting back tears over that last video. And yes it does say so much about these mutant killing machines. NOTHING could stop this dog! Not baseball bats, not pepper spray, not even bear spray. This is terrifying.

And a NORMAL dog would have recognized that the hound was a puppy. Normal dogs do not go around attacking puppies in an effort to kill them. But WE all know that these dogs are not normal, how do we get the rest of the world to recognize that.

  4. The more I read the more worried I get. I'm a fairly new dog owner and when I take my 6 month old pup to the dog parks there are nearly always several pit bulls there. This breed is everywhere. I can't understand its popularity, many of the owners I see at the dog park are young and somewhat yuppy-ish, I would imagine they have been sold the total line of pro-pit bull propaganda without fully understanding what their dog is genetically set up to potentially do. For other people with these dogs it almost seems to be some kind of cultural preference. Even when "playing" these dogs are rough with smaller/younger dogs it seems. I had to stand over my frightened young collie and yell "no" at a grown pit bull that was getting way too rough with her at the park until the 20 something girl who owned him finally remembered she actually had a dog with her and came over and put him on a leash.

  5. The horse one is particularly nasty. What kind of dog goes after a horse?! A lot of dogs bark at horses but it takes a particularly aggressive one to actually attack. That could have been worse had the dogs gone after someone riding, as a person could have been thrown and seriously injured. The poor horse is going to have a long, painful recovery period and the owners are going to have some big vet bills to pay.

I feel bad for all those nice dogs that were killed because some idiot just had to own a fighting dog.

  6. M, this is one of the MANY reasons that I HATE dog parks and advise pet owners to stay away from them.

You have the pit bulls owned by morons. And even other breeds of dogs again, owned by morons who
    1) Don't know anything about canine behavior
    2) have not properly socialized their dogs
    3) are not paying attention to their dogs!

Pit Bulls aside, in a dog park when a fight starts between two dogs, all of the other dogs in the area will rush in and join in the fight. What started with two dogs is now 5, 7, 10 dogs all fighting.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Anon is right, once a fight starts they all will join in. Plus owners are frightened to step in because they might get hurt. I had a fight break out between two Irish wolfhounds at an event I was attending and the owners just stood there in disbelief. I was the one who intervened, like a fool. One of these dogs was much bigger than me, much less two. Afterwards, the owners said their dogs had never shown aggression. Duh, there was another female wolfhound there in HEAT, what do you expect? Same in dog parks, you never know if there is a bitch in heat and that will definitely solicit fighting. Stay out of dog parks, they are dangerous.

  8. Stop the Deed. Ban the Breed!October 29, 2010 at 6:28 PM

    It happened again! http://www.wsbtv.com/news/25560977/detail.html?cxntlid=cmg_cntnt_rss

Pit bull (monsters) attack seem to happen every day!

I wasn't even looking for stories on pit attacks, but was just randomly browsing news websites, and yet I run into these. Makes me think just how often pit attacks must happen on a day to day basis.

  9. Garnet, You don't know the half of it. Horses never get over it. The vet bills are huge. The horse will probably require medication to take the edge of anxiety prior to every ride... or the horse may not be ridable. The horse will have dangerous flashbacks every time it sees a running dog.

    ReplyDelete
  10. the combined weight of my dogs is 190 lbs. the first time they saw a horse there was no barking, no growling, no lunging. their nostrils flared as they froze in place. that was the extent of their first horse experience. their feet were firmly planted on the ground. they were off leash and i couldn't have sicced my dogs on that horse. a smart dog, a normal dog looks at an animal that large and self preservation kicks in.

any dog that attacks or chases an animal the size of a full grown horse or cow should be killed asap.

  11. The pit took one look at Blue and PRANCED right up and tore a 5 inch hole in Blue's neck... for starters. Never a heart beat of hesitation, and kept up the attack for 20 minutes... and chased him for a mile. Horses are prey animals and they just don't get over that kind af trauma.

    ReplyDelete
  12. The last video is so painful to watch...the hound owner seems like a nice guy. Why isn't the pit owner on camera? I want to see what that asshole has to say.

I understand what they mean by witnesses being traumatised by seeing the pit bull attack. I saw a pit bull kill a dog many years ago, and it was really a life altering experience for an animal lover like myself. I can still vividly remember the sound of the small dog screaming...just screaming and screaming as the attack went on and on and on. It took two grown men pounding their fists into the pit bulls head for a very long time until they rendered him unconscious to get the other dog out of his grip. I will never forget that sound...that anguished screaming and screaming of the victim dog having his throat crushed by that pit bull, whose tail was wagging the entire time he was attacking. These dogs are an abomination, and anyone who defends the breeding of them is an animal abuser.

    ReplyDelete
  13. oh yes, the screaming is unforgettable. my neighbor's pit attacked my other neighbor's dog. the normal dog was almost twice the size of the mutant pit dog.
