Depraved Indifference

To constitute depraved indifference, the defendant's conduct must be so wanton, so deficient in a moral sense of concern, so lacking in regard for the life or lives of others, and so blameworthy as to warrant the same criminal liability as that which the law imposes upon a person who intentionally causes a crime. Depraved indifference focuses on the risk created by the defendant’s conduct, not the injuries actually resulting.

Driving analogy to the dog owning world....

Pit Owners=Drunk Drivers

Rott Owners=Texting Drivers

I wonder if Erb would be willing to sell "Satan"?...I have a cousin who is a Meth Dealer and he needs a "Man-Stoppah" in case "The Man" stops by.

Between driving analogy and man stoppah I am actually having the first bleak laugh on this very bleak and deadly day.

How did we as a society let it come to this?

This is a war. There's a daily pit bull body count.

It's okay for innocent children to be attacked by pit bulls, but it's not okay for pit bulls to be put to sleep for being aggressive, and preventing this from happening again.

This makes me sick.

"7 year old Dream is sentenced to death for a bite. The mom of the child who was bit wants Dream dead for revenge. Jake, Dreams (sic) owner is willing to relocate Dream, but not kill her."

Yes, please relocate Dream out of state, and obfuscate the biting history. This piece of crap pit bull is a "service dog" after all. We wouldn't want all of that intensive training to go to waste.

Has there ever been a report of a real service dog attacking children, or other animals?

Hey pit bull service dog trainers and owners, why can't you control your service dogs?

agreed anon 8:10, this is sick. i can't imagine anyone or any group rallying support for pedophiles but that is essentially what is happening with vicious dogs.

This might explain, and I think it's pretty obvious to even casual observers of Pit Bull owners:

"Studies have shown that owners of pit bulls are more likely to have criminal records and more likely to display antisocial behavior than owners of more common and less-vicious breeds.

The studies, published in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence and the Journal of Forensic Sciences, were titled “Ownership of High-Risk (Vicious) Dogs as a Marker for Deviant Behaviors” and “Vicious Dogs: The Antisocial Behaviors and Psychological Characteristics of Owners.”
