Thank you for what you do Dawn...my dead dog that shit herself while being mauled by 2 pits that she grew up with, truly didn't die in vain.

Ugh I typed a huge thing and instead of post I hit sign out.

I think the sad thing is that the pitbulls owners aren't helping one bit. But thats typical pit nutter eat n run.

Off topic but people are starting to see the issue with pitbulls. About a week before Christmas I saw a post in craiglist of a parent looking for a family dog for his/her sons. The person put "absolutely no pitbulls!" Which around these parts is unusual.
Wish I had screen grabbed the ad.

The reason I concluded that this neighbor isnt helping is if the medical bills are mounting and the kid needs a fund its obvious that the woman who owned the dog either has no insurance or not adequate insurance. If the mom sues she might get help.

This is so horrible. All because someone wanted a dog that could bite your face off.

That pic in the first comment is horrible. I hope that kid doesn't became dog bait. Its crap like those memes that makes those dogs seem less deadly. (And people more stupid.)

Sure hope if that dog goes pit bull on someone, its the owner and not the kid or a stranger.

Off topic as well. There is an ad for cane corso puppies in my local newspaper's classified section. "Raised in loving family home." Just seeing cane corso makes my heart stop. Thinking about those dogs being raised with children, and being sold as family pets, makes me go insane.

It's like feminism never happened.

All it takes for a low life male to rip off women is to use the bait of pit bulls, and the stupid cows humiliate themselves begging to be used, abused and lied to.

I'm beginning to think that the pit bull fad really is proving that a large percentage women are defectively stupid and inferior.

There are some guys getting duped by this but the majority of the dupeees are female. They will believe anything.

Anonymous, call them up, pretend to be a buyer, get their info and report them to the tax people in the state and the feds, your town if there are laws about kennels, state agriculture department about innoculations, the sales tax people in your state, the zoning board, the board of health, etc etc etc

plus the homeowner if they are renters. A lot of assessors records and deeds are online now

Also the various welfare departments if you think they are getting benefits and not reporting the income, which none of them do

There asre many ways to deal with these crooks.

You really have to wonder why anyone who does NOT fight dogs want a fighting dog. Bulldogs are the only logical choice for dog fighters, if you want to fight dogs you want the best fighting breed ever created. How illogical is it to want the world's best combat dog if you are not a dogfighter? Has anyone ever asked these people this simple question or does it exceed the bounds of their logic?

"or does it exceed the bounds of their logic? "

Judge ye not lest ye also be judged. How you judge one another you will also be judged the same way.
Let ye without sin cast the first stone.

I know this is a hit and run comment.

But, I believe many people here are discussing the issue rather than judging. "Judging" in that verse does not mean that we can never form opinions about things or come to conclusions about things.

Primarily, we're talking about a pretty simple issue... a fighting dog with a sometimes engaging personality being passed off as a family pet and the consequences resulting from that. Once, these dogs were mostly in the hands of men who knew their strength and, thus, kept them contained. If a dog did latch onto someone, these men knew how to safely open the dog's mouth.

It's not like that now and people are getting hurt. It is very frustrating to see little children mauled to death by a dog they truly believed to be their best friend and then have people act like the dog didn't know what it was doing. Or find ways to blame the child even if the child was too small to hurt a pit fighting dog.

We can judge an individual action as wrong. We can decide what we as a society can tolerate. It is important to have compassion and understanding for all people, but there are some things that are beyond us. Judging a person's soul is beyond us. But, people here aren't doing that.
