I need help with a rather sticky situation. [Michigan]

I apologize if this isn't the correct forum for this post. I was unable to find any legal questions forum. I love my brother and his Pit Bull Ozzy. This entire situation makes me sick and we need help. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

I have a big problem. My brother owns a Pit Bull in Lansing Michigan. Last night he broke his collar and attacked a neighbors dog. While the neighbor was holding Ozzy *my brothers pit bull* down by his collar and allowing his dog to attack him, he ended up getting bitten by Ozzy. The bite happened because Ozzy tried to defend himself. I have video of the entire incident. Good quality, and you can see everything.

After allowing his dog to attack Ozzy for nearly a minute. They finally separated the dogs. The neighbors dog continued to viciously go after Ozzy while Ozzy showed no further interest in fighting. After dogs were seperated, he (the neighbor) continues to hit, choke, slam his head on the concrete and do everything he can do damage Ozzy and "try to kill him". Those are the words he said to my brother. What I need is legal help. My brother is very passive and doesn't defend himself very well and has NO idea where to turn. If he allows it, he will be completely railroaded in this situation, to say nothing of what will happen to Ozzy and further Pit Bull reputation in the area.

The neighbor said, in his statement to the police. "That dog came after my throat and my dog stopped him". In the video you can see that not only did Ozzy bypass him completely, he never once tried to bite the PERSON holding him down and choking him during the entire event. Even after getting punched several times, choked and having his head slammed into the concrete. All Ozzy did during, even THAT, was try to get away. I need help, please. We need resources and ideas for legal protection. I will provide the video once I know it's legal and safe to do so and to the proper person.

Hamilton Humane and the Power of Love and Anger

i don't know, maybe it was the fact that nutters just had that purpose bred video deleted from liveleak or maybe it was the 5 minute mutant rampage that destroyed 2 innocent normal dogs or maybe it was the sight of an ex-marine choking back the tears as he relived the nightmare of the pit bull grabbing Junior from his arms but this story really pissed me off.

ex-marine Tony Yeary received an education in purpose bred dogs when a pit bull escaped containment and went on a killing spree. APOLLO ripped Tony's 6 month old dachshund from his arms and killed him as well as another dog in the span of 5 minutes.

APOLLO'S owner gave the news crew the classic badrap misunderstood spiel. including “You can ask anybody around here, including my neighbor, wonderful dog.”


Apollo is a rescue dog adopted from The Humane Society for Hamilton County. The dog passed all of the shelter’s tests and was adopted. The north east side apartment complex does not allow pit bulls, but they made an exception.

how unfortunate that the management made this exception. of course i am always skeptical when shelters claim the dog was fine when it left their facility. not long ago, the shelter in neighboring marion county run by JOHN ALESHIRE tried to pull the same stunt after a mutant they recently adopted out, to a cop of all people, mauled the neighbor.

About Apollo
Sometimes humankind baffles even the most jaded animal advocate.
Apollo and his sister Athena were found locked in a windowless storage unit with no food, water or ventilation on May 17, 2011. It is likely that they had been in there for up to one week. The police seized the dogs and brought them to HSHC for safekeeping. Understandably, Apollo was fearful of all the new people, noises and attention. But he was so grateful to be in a safe and caring place with food, water and an air-conditioned kennel. He weighs 52 lbs. now, but only weighed 45lbs when he arrived revealing every bone in his body. As you might expect, his medical exam showed him to be emaciated, dirty, dehydrated, his tail was broken and bleeding, his ears were infected and his tooth was broken. We estimate him to be about 4 years old, an American Pit Bull mix who we have had neutered. He has a perpetually worried brow, but we are seeing that improve each day.

It is one year later, and Apollo is still waiting for his forever home. It has been a long road to recovery for this sweet boy. He has gone from having to be carried in and out of the kennel because he was too scared to walk to being able to walk on leash with the encouragement of our dedicated staff and volunteers. He is finding his courage more and more every day through the power of love. He loves to have his belly rubbed and takes treats gently. Due to a lack of socialization, he is selective about other dogs and is not good with cats. He would be best suited in a home as the only dog and with children ages 13 and up due to his sometimes nervous nature.

We recently attended the trial of the person responsible for leaving Apollo and his sister Athena is such horrific conditions, and were pleased to report he was convicted of animal neglect and cruelty and ordered to pay restitution to the Humane Society.

Now the only unfinished business we have is to find the home for Apollo that he has always deserved. His owner needs to be patient and understanding of Apollos past, but the reward theyll receive with his undying love and loyalty will be well worth it. You must be 21 to adopt our sweet Greek god!

May 16, 2012    We are so thankful to report that person responsible for keeping Apollo and Athena locked in a Carmel storage unit last May, was found guilty today on 2 charges of animal neglect, a Class A Misdemeanor. Sentencing is set for next month, but we hope this sends a loud and clear message about animal abusers in Hamilton County. Athena has been in a wonderful, loving home, but Apollo still waits for his forever home. Thanks to Lt. Amy Stein for her hardwork and dedication to making sure someone paid for this crime.

June 20, 2012   APOLLO is so fearful, rightfully so after everything he has been through. He needs an experienced owner who can help him overcome his fear. We recommend he go to a home with kids over 13. No cats in the home for Apollo, but he lived with his sister Athena all of his life so he does like other dogs. We would want to do a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home to make sure it's a good fit.

let's see, APOLLO has been receiving food, vet care, love and belly rubs for 13 months and he is still fearful and "rightfully so". no cats, no small kids but now they will make an exception with other dogs and they have added needs an "experienced" owner. sounds like they were getting desperate to get this dog out of their system, AGAIN. so desperate they apparently fudged just a wee bit on that statement about passing "all tests".

November 13, 2012   Today's adoptions: Cats - Jax, Jillie! Dogs - Mitzi, Java, and...APOLLO. Most of you know he has been in a wonderful foster home these past few months. Today, he was adopted. From a storage unit where he as kept in a cage, to a wonderful, loving home. We couldn't be happier for you sweet boy!

MAY 14, 2013 one of the shelter supporters posts the story to the shelter's facebook page. they come to the defense of the shelter, except one woman who said it is too bad that the shelter staff did not follow up to make sure APOLLO was getting his required quota of belly rubs. the humane society jumps in with: "Lynette without getting into too much detail, please don't believe everything the media reports. There were quite a few incorrect facts reported, and his being tied to a tree is one of them."

it looks like Hamilton Humane might have killed their one and only alibi. lol, good job nutters!

as i read through the HAMILITON HUMANE'S facebook page and burrowed through their website and videos, it hit me. these organizations are emotional support groups for rescue angels. my advice - please seek professional help and leave the rest of society out of your mess.

the UK nanny dog struck again

i am finally in a mental state where i can write about this attack without fearing my words will incite others to violence. pit bull home invasions leave me feeling like Charles Whitman.

last wednesday (2.16.11), Sam Thomas lived through Jennifer Lynch's psycho pit bull monster horror film, The Compound. her children were out side in the fenced in backyard playing when they ran into the house to tell their mother that 2 black dogs got into their enclosed yard. the dogs were hot on their trail and forced their way into the house before Sam could secure the door. Sam barricaded her kids in a room. their family dog, a 9 month old borzoi was in crate in the hallway. Sam thought that the crate would protect their puppy. of course, it would have if these were simply marauding german shepherds but then again, i don't recall EVER reading about violent home invasions by german shepherds. this crime is exclusive to gripping dog. it didn't take the hideous mutants long to destroy the crate and attack Mika. Mika screamed as the frankenmaulers mutilated him. this horror show was clearly heard by Sam and her children, who were screaming at their mother to let them help Mika. meanwhile, Sam had called for help. her husband arrived and used a hoe and a metal broom to separate the dogs, both the hoe and the broom were destroyed. the police and special forces from the dog unit arrived and it took four men to get these psychotic monsters under control. one of the special forces officers dislocated his shoulder trying to manage them. Mika was rushed to the vet. Mika died the next day, he had 70 wounds.

the hideous mutants are in custody and the hideous nutter is "cooperating" with the investigation. when Richard Thomas spoke to the teen nutter, he got the typical dog aggression is natural and normal response. let's hope that the police don't give the typical response of "sorry mate, dog on dog attacks are not in my job description".

THIS is why i focus this blog on animal aggression and the idiots who think this obscene prey drive is acceptable and manageable.

11.19.10 pomona, california a woman was accompanied by her unleashed cocker spaniel when she took the trash out into the back alley. the spaniel wandered too close to the fence that housed 2 mutant pit bulls. the little dog stuck his nose under the chain link fence and was pulled through. the mutants mauled it into unconsciousness. the spaniel was taken to the vet and euthanized.

11.19.10 san angelo, texas the Pearson's cat, Monkey, was snoozing in their flower bed when the neighborhood bully ran into their yard and grabbed the cat and carried him back to his yard. he would not let go so the owners knocked on the door for help. the pit nutter looked out the door, shrugged his shoulders and went back in.

Second call from caller’s wife reporting her husband is restraining one of the dogs while awaiting animal control. 11.21.10 las vegas, nevada a pit bull jumped over a wall, attacked 2 girls and then redirected on it's natural prey, a golden retriever, when it came within its sights. the mutant was confiscated.

Roger Jendral saw the assassin lock and load on Joey and tried to help. he used MARJI BEACH'S trick, he picked up the hind legs. that's didn't work. he then applied another MARJI BEACH technique and choked the dog off. the mutant released for a split second and then grabbed Joey again. Jendral put his entire weight on the mutant. Joey died. to make matters even worse, this particular mutant was banished from the city in 2009 after complaints of roaming and attacking other dogs. the city of white rock will determine the fate of the mutant which could mean a dirt nap but a talking head for the city said euthanasia will be a last resort. this is a fucking outrage. this pit nutter obviously can not be trusted.

My neighbor had the spare keys i went over to get them when i moved in. She asked me if i had dogs i said yes 2 miniture scnauzers she said that her dogs will kill my dogs and are very aggresive towards other animals. The houses are divided by a small 5 foot chain link fence but it up a hill with my house looking down. 11.26.10 UK John Whelan was walking his dog Pixie (a staffy/lab mix), when he saw a mutant nanny dog running towards him and then launch an unprovoked attack on Pixie. the 40 something pit nutter sauntered over and was unapologetic. he said to Whelan, "That's just what dogs do." MAYOR HOBBS, a former cop, wants a "common sense" approach; "train JIMI and his owner to be sociable". one thousand people joined the facebook free jimi campaign but only 4 showed up to demonstrate. meanwhile the humane society that is accused of adopting the mutant mix is back peddling. they are certain that JIMI didn't have any of those nasty pit bull characteristics when they adopted him.

11.11.10 plymouth, michigan a mutant pit bull escaped its backyard and attacked a shih-tzu being walked on a leash by its owner. two pit nutters ran out of the house to get the mutant. they both laid on it, to subdue it. the nutters told the police that mutant pit bull escapes the yard by jumping over the broken fence. for what reason i will never understand, the cops felt the need to include this worthless nugget of information in their report: "While talking with the dog's owner, the officer noticed that the dog was calm and associating with another dog and a cat at the residence. An animal control officer was expected to follow up on the incident this week." who cares if the frankenmauler is civil with family members?

11.12.10 st paul, minnesota Eddie Silva went out to his yard at 12:30 am to pull a campaign sign out of his when he encountered 2 mutant pit bulls. one of them grabbed a hold of his leg while he fended off the other with the sign. he made it back to his house, opened the door and his pit bull bolted out and was involved in the attack. both Silva and his dog managed to get into the house and call police. when they arrived, they were also charged by the frankenmaulers, one of which was shot and captured, the other was captured without incident.

Swigert sent the FEKETTES a copy of the $1000 vet bill certified mail but has yet to recieve a check or even a response. i don't understand why they haven't manned up. KIM owns a business (Bliss, a salon experience) and some pretty expensive toys. it won't kill them to take responsibility for their frankenmaulers' outburst.

HELP! my just over one year old pit has attacked our maltese-shi for the third time, the first was just a small shake, but the last two there was minor blood involved but seemed(at the time) worst than it was. The pit is very nice w/ people even those he doesn’t know as long as he is around us he is friendly & kisses those we are with. The maltese-shi barks at most people sometimes even those around us. Tonight’s fight was pretty bad, the pit didn’t want to let go even after buckets of water. I finally stuck a shovel under his face and over the other dog‘s body during a small moment where he had let him go from his jaw. My family is asking me to put my blue pitbull to sleep tomm. mornings ASAP. My pit has been very loving to us and has never threaten us in any way, but seeing him like this does put a small fear in us since its not normal of him. What can I do? should i put him to sleep? he’s just over a year old and I feel horrible and do have a fear he might one day attack another dog or maybe even a human being. What should I do? 11.17.10 meridan, connecticut 55 yr old Yvonne Saveikis was attacked by BLAINE GAMBLE'S mutant pit bull when she tried to pick up her papillon to save it from being savaged. her dog was later euthanized and she was hospitalized, once for the attack and a second time for the infection from the attack. the frankenmauler was being walked by 2 females when it broke from its leash.

11.17.10 thomasville, north carolina Bear Bear was killed when MATTHEW ALLEN BARNHILL'S frankenmauler busted loose from his chain and attacked. Bear Bear's owner Paula White, tried to save him and was mauled. MATTHEW BARNHILL said he is "truly and deeply sorry" but it is White's fault for first trying to intervene. when she grabbed a hold of Bear Bear, the mutant redirected and grabbed hold of her. MATTHEW ALLEN BARNHILL was also critical of the aggressiveness she showed toward his mutant. she picked up a metal pole and started to beat the mutant and of course he defended himself. obviously White wasn't aggressive enough in her beating of the ugly mutant. randolph county quarantined the assassin for 10 days and then returned it to this lunatic with a criminal record.

11.18.10 orland park, illinois An unidentified animal owner, of the 10200 block of 153rd Street in Orland Park, was charged with injury by dog, running an animal and failure to leash an animal after his pit bull slipped out of its collar, jumped the yard fence and attacked a woman and another dog around 7 a.m. Witnesses told police the pit bull stopped attacking them only after an unidentified man hit it with a chain. That man left in a truck before police arrived, when the dog was restrained by officers, according to the report.

Police said the woman suffered bites and scratches to her right leg, left arm and face, but that her dog was not visibly injured.

The pit bull's owner, who was out of the house at the time of the incident, told police he would secure the dog in the garage rather than the yard in the future.

OVALLE might take his mutants to his uncle's property out on the country "until thing calm down". they will be able to hone their hunting skills unfettered. the mutant are currently in jail.

11.19.10 UK the mutant staffy bull savaged a springer spaniel and attacked two men is sitting on dirt nap row. 46 yr old pit nutter LYNNE HUCKLE admitted that her mutant was dangerously out of control when it escaped her yard to attack a passing springer spaniel and two men who tried to save it. the springer owner will have permanent damage to his finger. while the proud pit nutter failed to lift a finger to get control of her dog. the shyster lawyer GORDON GHEE, speaking on behalf of the pit nutter said “Ordinarily, she takes great care to make sure the house is secure. LEONE was cited for violating the leash law. he continued to deny that he had a dog fitting the mutant's description until he was informed that was hampering with a police investigation. after an hour of lying, he confessed. the police charged LEONE with intimidating a witness and arrested him.

canada charges are being considered against the owner of the pit bull/border collie that killed Gus the chihuahua/papillon in the small dog area of the off leash park.

brookneal, virginia in august a brookneal officer shot and killed a mutant when it attacked his K9 partner and himself. ERIC BLACK and QUAMINE WHITLOW were charged with assault and battery and JENNIFER DAWN CARWILE was charged with felony assault on a cop and a police dog. the thugs got off easy. the two men must pay the vet bill for K9 Ice, court costs and attorney fees while CARWILE must pay court costs and other fees. the pit bull problem isn't going to get any better as long as the courts continue to minimize the threat.

woodbridge, connecticut a man and his wife were out walking their four dogs when they encountered another dog. their four dogs were given the sit command but the "boxer mix" did not want to comply and was determined to "approach" the other man's dog. the man tried to control his "boxer mix" and it turned and attacked him. he struggled with the "boxer mix" and was forced to kill it. the "boxer mix" is described as 3 years old and the couple owned it for one year. they got it from a "friend". MARJI BEACH would be disappointed. she thinks he should have tried choking it off or raising its back legs or spraying water on it or just sprinkle magic fairy dust.
